Terms & Conditions for Nurse Care by Lou Ltd

These Terms & Conditions explain how I provide my services, your responsibilities as a client, and what happens in case of cancellations, payments, or concerns. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Who I Am
My name is Louise Emslie, a qualified nurse and manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) practitioner, operating under Nurse Care by Lou Ltd, a registered limited company in the UK.
Services Provided
I offer specialist care services including:
• Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
• Lymphoedema management and complete decongestive therapy
• Health consultations and support for healthy lymphatic systems
These services are delivered in-person at clinics or through home visits, where agreed.
Booking Appointments
Appointments can be booked online or by direct contact. Once booked, you will receive a confirmation by email. Please provide full and accurate medical information prior to treatment to ensure your care is safe and appropriate.
Payments
Payment is due by bank transfer before or immediately after each session unless otherwise agreed.
Package sessions (6, or 10 session bundles) must be paid in full in advance. Packages are non-refundable once started, unless there are exceptional medical or compassionate reasons.

Cancellation Policy

• At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a £25.00 fee.
• If I need to cancel your appointment, I will give as much notice as possible and reschedule where appropriate.

Health & Safety
I will always work within my professional capacity and training to provide safe care. However:
• Clients must notify me of any medical conditions, allergies, or changes in health before treatment.
• I may decline or postpone treatment if it is not safe to proceed, in this instance you will be charged a fee of £25.00
Professional Conduct
As a registered nurse, I follow the NMC Code of Conduct and all relevant UK healthcare guidelines.
All personal information is handled in line with my Privacy Policy and data protection law (UK GDPR).
Limitation of Liability
While I take all reasonable steps to ensure safety, I cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage not caused by my negligence or that arises from failure to follow given advice.
